December 6th:
With the 'Festive' season upon us again another year is drawing to a close. Bluemoose would like to sincerely thank everyone who made the past twelve months another fantastic year for the band - venue & accommodation owners/management/staff, sponsors, friends in the business and on the road, and especially to everyone that attended the gigs and made them memorable! The boys are still as busy as ever throughout December with 21 dates, culminating with the New Years Eve Party at Dakota, Wexford Town. This is a ticket event and is selling fast so act quick to be a part of the repeat of last years madness.

September 20th:
The madness of 'Freshers Week' kicked off around the country this week. Monday saw the guys play to a very energetic crowd at UCD's Student Bar. Tuesday brought Bluemoose to Dublins 'Spirit' club on Abbey Street for the DIT Freshers Ball. Main attraction for the night was the fantastic Blizzards, with Bluemoose making their appearrance as the 'surprise band', to carry the party into the early hours. Very special thanks to all involved in the student unions etc for their hospitality!

August 29th:
With a monster run of 27 gigs in August almost completed, the busy schedule is set to continue throughout September! Now that debs/grad season is almost over, college season will start to takeover. Bluemoose will be performing at parties for a number of colleges, with the major ones in September being in UCD and Dublin's 'Spirit' club for DIT, where Bluemoose's show will be preceded by a performance by 'The Blizzards'.
All dates for September have been updated.

August 8th:
The busy month of August kicked off in style over the Bank Holiday weekend! Starting with a private function Thursday, Benedicts Friday, and then the annual 3-day burnout of the Vikings MC Ireland Rally, Wexford Boatclub Barbecue and the Old Oak on Bank Holiday Monday, Bluemoose played to approximately 5,000 people over the exhausting few days! The hectic schedule continues for the rest of month. The added extra of graduation/debutante balls means the guys will have just 2 days off for the rest of the month!
Now for some big news just in!! We are delighted to announce that Shane has just become an official endorser for C&C Custom Drums! Shane's custom kit is currently being assembled and he will be added to an impressive list of artists which include Bob Bryar (My Chemical Romance), Andy Hurley (Fallout Boy) and Jeremy Gara (The Arcade Fire). Congratulations Shane!!
Latest pictures from recent gigs will be added soon.

July 22nd:
Bluemoose are now back to full momentum after the summer break. There has been some alterations to the gig guide so please review it, and as always, check with the venues if you have plans to travel to the shows.

July 4th:
"Carlsberg don't do band conventions.....but if they did, it probably would've been at Marlay Park last Tuesday!" Anyone would've been forgiven for thinking it was national musician day last week when members
from a number of Irelands top cover bands did a spot of 'socialising' at the Aerosmith gig in Dublin. Members and ex-members from at least nine bands had a meet & greet over a few beers and an enjoyable day was had!
Next we would like to congratulate our very good friends J-90 and Whitewater on the release of their second and third singles respectively. J-90's "Everything Is Gonna Be Alright" was released last Friday and Whitewater's "Summertime" goes on release this Friday. Both tracks can be downloaded from www.downloadmusic.ie and cost just 99c, so show the guys some support.

June 21st:
Apologies for the lack of updates lately! Technical difficulties and a tiresome schedule were to blame ;) The 'Moose brigade has been busy covering the country over the past month and are nearing their well-earned summer holiday break. Since our last update the guys have been to all four corners of the island and what seems like everywhere in between! Fantastic and exciting gigs have been had, and the ever increasing support for the band has been phenomenal. As the guys prepare for their mid-year hiatus, we would like to thank everyone for making it a spectacular first half of 2007! The feedback has been exceptional and is evident on this site with 50,000 hits (almost 16,000 in the past year alone) and also the bands Bebo page where the Fan count has surpassed the 1300 mark!!
Some new pictures have been added with more to come over the next few days.
Bluemoose are on holidays from July 1st - July 15th, returning on Mon 16th for two nights in Killarney.

May 16th:
The guys just about made it home from their England tour in one piece. After some 'interesting' antics post-gig in Blackpool, which rocked as always, the guys headed for Minehead on Friday where they shared a weekend line-up which included Sash, Gina G, Dane Bowers & Vanilla Ice.
Saturday saw the boys return to one of the most rockin' towns on the circuit! The roof almost lifted off the Walkabout in Derby as the crowd worked up a frenzy. Very special thanks to DJ Chris for all the promo and Fin for the sound and hospitality!! Great to see you guys as always.
Skegness was the destination on Sunday and it saw Bluemoose team up with Chesney Hawkes once again to bring the weekend to a close in Butlins.
Pictures from Friday, Saturday and Sunday have been posted.
Finally, a big shout out and thanks to our good mate Jonny 'Rotten' Ryan for the pictures, laughs and craziness on the trip!!

May 8th:
"Two Shane's don't make a right" was how the saying went. And all the gang that travelled down to Killarney last Monday to help J-90's Shane celebrate his birthday can vouch for that! With members from various bands on the scene joining forces to cause havoc in the town, it turned out to be a memorable session which ran into the early hours of Wednesday morning!!
Bluemoose returned to Killarney for a pair of rockin' gigs in McSorley's on Thursday and Friday in the build up to the 'Rally of the Lakes'. Followed by shows in two of their favourite venues -PV's, Longford on Saturday and The Old Oak, Cork, Sunday, to round up what was a truly crazy week!
The guys play Copperface Jacks tomorrow night before returning to England on Thursday for a series of gigs in Blackpool, Minehead, Derby and Skegness. On the Butlins bill this time round with the lads are acts including Vanilla Ice, Gina G, Sash and they perform with Chesney Hawkes once again on Sunday.
Pictures from Saturday and Sunday have been posted.

April 25th:
Bluemoose took part in the massive charity event - 'Fort Aid 2007' - last Friday in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, in aid of 'Ken-ya Help'. With a huge ten band line-up, the show was a huge success with some of the finest musicianship on display. Click Here for the line-up. Congratulations to the team at The Fort for an excellent, professionally run event.
Bluemoose also returned to Copperface Jacks last night for another crazy gig. The midweek gigs in the Harcourt Street venue are proving a huge success for the boys, and they return on May 9th.
Don't forget to keep your comments, suggestions and anything of general interest coming in to our Guestbook, Message Board and also our Bebo pages!

April 17th:
The guys are now back in full swing after returning from their European vacations. The past weekend saw them rock out with the crazy gang at the Red Cove in Mahon, Cork, before a private function Saturday, then onto Mallow on Sunday with lots of familiar faces in the crowd.
Bluemoose are also pleased to announce they have secured a residency at Dublins top 'nite-spot' Copperface Jacks, on Harcourt Street! Starting from next Tuesday (not tonight as previously advertised), the boys will be performing various Tuesdays and Wednesdays throughout each month. Keep an eye on the giglist for the dates each month!!
We'll also be adding a 'pic of the week' with each news bulletin. Feel free to send us any shots from Bluemoose gigs you think should be put on display! Here's one to get us started ;-) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Gig dates for April and May have been posted.
Special thanks to Colin Fahey for loading out the entire Bluemoose rig single handedly from Copperface Jacks last night. This display certainly earned Colin some extra brownie points in his bid to become Irelands #1 roadie! :o)
Bluemoose take a well earned week off from Saturday as the guys jet off to various parts of Europe, returning to the fray in Smyths of Limerick on Sunday April 8th.

March 16th:
New pictures from NUIG student bar have been added.
Once again Bluemoose would like to thank everyone for their fantastic continued support! So far 2007 has been a frantic, but excellent few months and we're also closing in on 1,000 groupies on our Bebo band site. Keep your comments and suggestions coming in, and we'll see you at your local venue soon!

March 5th:
Our apologies to the party from Dublin who travelled to Tullamore on Saturday night. Unfortunately the gig was cancelled due to the venue closing down at short notice. Bluemoose are sad to see #1 go as they have built up a cult following in the area and were always guaranteed a wild night.
On a happier note, the guys made their debut in Copperface Jacks, Dublin last week to a packed house. 'Coppers', on Harcourt Street, is one of the capitals more well-known bars and Bluemoose look forward to returning there later this month.
A new live track has been added to the sounds section. Nelly Furtado's 'Maneater' was recorded in December last at Butlins' Centre Stage in Bognor Regis, England.
****************************************************************************************************************************
February 19th:
Pictures from Friday night in McPhails, Drogheda have been added.
A very special thanks goes out to our good friends Paul McGovern, Jagger Murray and Peadar Carney who helped us out over the weekend. Much appreciated guys!

February 15th:
"What time is it?..." It was Chico time for Bluemoose over the weekend as the former X-Factor favourite performed the opening slot to two of their shows in the UK. The boys, headlining all three Butlins Centre Stage venues in one weekend, preceded by a return to Blackpool's Walkabout, entertained over 6,000 people over the four nights!
Also in the past week there have been crazy nights had with parties for the students of UCD, TCD, DIT and WIT, with CIT and NUIG still to come this week!
Check out the new latest pictures and tour dates for March.

Also, once again, thanks to all the support and kind words on our Bebo sites. We have now surpassed the 600 groupies mark ;o)
